Hello, we are M Trane +, a Madison based band that plays Funk, Soul, RnB and Jazz music. The band has been playing in the Madison area for over 20 years, and we have recently revitalized our sound in the past year through new membership and returning players, we are a 10 piece band, where each of us adds our own artistic talent to create a cohesive sound that is pleasing in a variety of places. In this past year, we have performed live consistently and have gained an eager following in search of sounds to feed the soul. We strive to provide a fun set that people can dance to enjoy. We’ve played dozens of Madison venues and provided music for several Madison traditions, finding steady work at the Atwood, Cafe Coda, Spamfest, Sherman Avenue United Methodist Church services, the first 4 All city Kwanzaa Madison events, the Monona Terrace, Genna’s Pub, and numerous private events. We love the music we play, and we love the joy it brings!
